All our initiatives have one objective

Allow me to give you a closer look at how the sanctity of life has become an integral part of all the initiatives funded by you through this ministry.

There are many reasons why this topic is near and dear to my heart, but I would like to touch on the top three that are constant reminders as we serve daily.

Recipient of God’s grace, mercy

  1. The Lord hates the killing of innocent lives; it is an abomination to Him. As a follower of Christ, how can I possibly keep silent when I’m painfully aware of all the abortions taking place?

  2. There is no unpardonable sin. God forgave the unforgivable after my abortion at age 16 and reconciled me to Himself through Jesus Christ.  What God did for me compels me and gives me the boldness to speak to women – individually, in groups or at women’s conferences – concerning the heart of God on purity, abortion and His forgiveness available to all.

  3. It is no secret that my two beautiful grandchildren were born out of wedlock. In the words of another mother, “What do you do when the wages of sin is a grandbaby?” My answer to that question is a topic for another time. But I promise you, neither of my precious grandchildren – nor any other child born out of wedlock – filled out an application to come into the world this way. I’m not exempting our daughter from the role she played, but I thank the Lord every day that she did not follow through when the father gave her money to have an abortion.

Shine the light of the Gospel

For these reasons and more, I knew that protecting unborn children must be at the forefront of this ministry.

I am reminded daily of God’s grace and mercy in my life. And showing His love to the impoverished women we serve has to go hand in hand with meeting their physical needs.

After much prayer, we strategically created initiatives that shine the light of the Gospel on the imperativeness of the sanctity of life – from the unborn to the mothers – while helping stabilize their families.

We accomplish this through our ministries: the Youth at Risk, Self-Sustainability, Birthing Center, Medical Emergency Fund, Irene’s Home of Hope and the Resource Center.

As social and economic circumstances continue to be difficult for many underprivileged women worldwide, I am grateful to each of you for your support. Each of our initiatives serves to meet specific needs of these women. Only eternity will reveal the true impact of the many lives we have been privileged to introduce to the love of God through Julie’s Heart Cry.
