Your gifts provided 800 new Bibles in the CAR

My heart is overflowing with gratitude as I share the results of this year’s Bible conference in the Central African Republic with you.

Approximately 2,000 people were in attendance—each one hearing the life-changing message of the gospel. Only God could make this possible. And to think this was only our third year hosting the conference makes His hand even more evident in every detail.

This year, 31 churches united with us, and 81 pastors gathered for teaching, fellowship, and encouragement. The hunger for God’s Word was unmistakable, and because of your generosity, we were able to respond in a powerful and meaningful way.

An eternal impact

Your donations allowed us to purchase 800 Sango Bibles for men, women, and young people who left the conference holding God’s Word in their own language—many for the very first time. The impact of that simple moment is eternal. Only in heaven will we fully understand the fruit of your giving.

The need, however, remains great, so JHC will continue receiving donations designated for Bibles in the Central African Republic. Select Bibles from the dropdown menu.

As Lynette Woodward so beautifully said after her time with us, “Our mantra shall be, until everyone in CAR has a Bible who wants one.”

The laborers are few

We were also deeply blessed to host Pastor Tom Woodward and his wife, Lynette, from Ohio. Taking a step of faith, they joined us for the conference and served with joyful hearts. Pastor Tom preached during the conference and shared his testimony several times. Lynette taught the Wordless Book to more than 700 children, shared the gospel with countless women and children, and brought encouragement everywhere she went.

Truly, the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

Thank you for investing in the spiritual growth of men, women, and young people across the CAR. Thank you for believing in this mission, standing with us, and helping place Scripture directly into the hands of those who long for it.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your love, your generosity, and your partnership in the gospel. May God multiply every seed you have sown.

With deep gratitude,

Julie & the Julie’s Heart Cry Team
