Julie recently flew to the Central African Republic, conducting her mid-year review of all the Lord is doing through this ministry. Each visit brings renewed vision, connection, and incredible testimonies of transformation — and it’s all made possible by your faithful support.
WHEN PRAYERS TAKE FLIGHT
This journey began with an unexpected challenge. Upon Julie’s arrival in Bangui, a key piece of luggage — containing computers and critical ministry equipment — went missing. Julie quickly shared the news on social media, and within hours, many of you had joined in prayer.
Just a few days later, that very luggage arrived, completely intact! Julie had feared the equipment might be stolen or damaged, but instead, we witnessed the power of your prayers. These valuable tools will now serve the youth in our program, helping equip them with skills for a brighter future.
JOY IN THEIR SMILES
Shortly after arriving in Bangui, Julie captured photos of the children — faces full of joy, energy, and life. These smiles reflect more than just the camera flash — they reflect hope.
Even as we struggle with soaring inflation and a steep rise in the cost of food, your continued generosity ensures every child under JHC’s care receives nutritious meals, an education, and consistent spiritual nourishment. It’s not easy. Ministry operational costs have grown dramatically. Yet, by God’s grace and your unwavering support, we remain steadfast in our calling.
Because of you, the children:
Eat nutritious food every day
Are taught the Word of God regularly
Live in safe, loving environments
Know they are seen, known, and loved

Here are a few glimpses of the transformation you’re helping to make possible:
Benicia came to the program three years ago as a struggling young mother. Her baby boy, Emmanuel (which means “God with us”), was malnourished and out of school. Today, both mother and child are thriving, attending school, and filled with hope for the future.
Lydia, once selling sand by the roadside to afford her education, is now excelling in school — no longer burdened by the fear of missing out due to poverty.
Ornelia, just 8 years old, had lived as a servant — carrying water and firewood all day. Rescued into care, she is now safe, flourishing, and surrounded by love in her new home.
